Who I am

Glucose Steady is run by Charlotte Ainsworth in the UK. I’m responsible for any personal information collected through this website. You can contact me about anything on this page at glucosesteady@hotmail.com.

The weekly recipe email

If you sign up, I collect your email address so I can send you the weekly recipe email. I only use it for that, and I never sell or share it with anyone else for their own marketing.

I collect it because you’ve asked me to (your consent). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email, or by emailing me.

The emails are sent through Kit, an email service. Kit stores your email address, when and how you signed up, and whether you open or click the emails, so I can see which recipes people find useful. Kit is based in the United States, so your details are stored there. You can read how Kit protects them in Kit’s privacy policy.

I keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it.

Instagram reels

Recipe reels are hosted on Instagram. Nothing from Instagram loads until you choose to watch a reel. When you do, Instagram (owned by Meta) may collect information and set cookies, as described in Instagram’s privacy policy.

Affiliate links

Some links, marked “Ad”, are affiliate links. If you click one, the shop you visit may use cookies to record that you came from this site, so I can earn a small commission. That’s covered by the shop’s own privacy policy. I don’t see who you are or what you buy.

Cookies and tracking on this site

This website doesn’t set its own cookies or use analytics tracking. If that changes, I’ll update this page first.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Just email glucosesteady@hotmail.com.
